We are often asked to open safes for many different reasons, the most common being:

We open all safes including floor safes, wall safes, floor standing safes, deposit or drop safes, data or media safes, jewellery safes, medical cabinets, gun safes, key cabinets, fire-resistant safes, book room doors and vault doors.
Whatever the problem, with investment in training through the Master Locksmith Association BC Master Locksmiths are trained to assess the nature of a safe and return
it back into good working order.

All safes contain moving parts which require regular maintenance to keep them running smoothly, reduce the risk of failure and to prolong their life. Our annual or one-off safe servicing service greatly reduces the risk of a malfunction and helps to prevent the potential headache and cost of a failed safe. Combination or key change
There are times when you may need to change the combination or key to your working safe. Please call us to discuss your requirements or use the contact form and we will get back to you.
Our advice is that if you have a safe that you no longer use or you have forgotten the combination , either get it removed ,leave it open or get us to change the combination. If you have a locked safe in your house and need it opened or removed please call us.

We can retro-fit secure, electronic locks which will simplify safe access, meaning you can open your safe with a code easily remembered by you.
Your safe needs to be in an accessible place for you to use it, but also somewhere out of sight or even somewhere assured by your insurance company. This can mean that where one safe is fitted to a concrete floor, another has to be fitted to a stone wall or wooden floor. You must consider the surface and characteristics of your fixings when mounting your safe. BC Master Locksmiths offer professional fitting and instalment of your safe.

Vault opening service
This vault door was opened by BC Master Locksmiths as the keys had been lost. A property in Hulls old town is under renovation to turn it into 3 luxury flats. The vault, which is very large inside, is to be used as an extra room. We have opened and serviced a few of these vaults around this area and each one has had its separate challenges. For example, the gunpowder proof 8 lever safe lock fitted to this had broken lever springs. I like a challenge, it keeps the brain ticking over.
